Summary

This work continues where 'Fathomless Riches' left off, with Richard Coles' ordination in 2005. The story, however, is told very differently, structured around the church's year, beginning with the ordination season in Petertide and then on through Advent and Christmas to Lent and Easter, drawing on Richard's experiences in his ten years of ministry, serving in Boston Lincolnshire, Knightsbridge in central London, and Finedon in Northamptonshire. Interwoven with these is the story of his continuing career as a broadcaster and in media. How can one be the servant of two masters? What is the grain and texture of a parish priest's life? How can you be faithful in ministry and not unintelligible to the rest of the world?
