Dean Fleischer-Camp directs this live-action animated remake of the 2002 Disney animation. Lilo Pelekai (Maia Kealoha) is a six-year-old orphan who lives with her older sister and legal guardian Nani (Sydney Agudong). Lilo is lonely and is desperate to find a friend and so when she meets Stitch (voice of Chris Sanders), an alien fugitive, she immediately adopts him. While Stitch is pursued by aliens and government agents and Nani faces concerned social workers, Lilo attempts to teach Stitch the meaning of family. The cast also includes Zach Galifianakis, Billy Magnussen and Courtney B. Vance.
