Nicolas Cage stars as the eponymous surfer in this thriller directed by Lorcan Finnegan. When the surfer returns to his hometown seeking to purchase his childhood home, he takes his teenage son (Finn Little) to the nearby beach where he loved to surf as a boy. However, the beach is now ruled by a crew of surfers led by Scally (Julian McMahon) who refuse to let outsiders surf there. As the conflict between them escalates to violence, the surfer becomes increasingly enraged and begins to lose his grip on reality. The cast also includes Nic Cassim, Alexander Bertrand and Justin Rosniak.
