Ryan Coogler writes and directs this supernatural horror starring Michael B. Jordan as twin brothers Smoke and Stack Moore. Upon returning home to Clarksdale, Mississippi in 1932, Smoke and Stack open a juke joint and attract the ire of a group of local Klansmen. Their cousin Sammie (Miles Caton), a talented musician, plays at the joint's opening but when his music draws the attention of an ancient evil in the form of Remmick (Jack O'Connell), a desperate fight for survival ensues. The cast also includes Hailee Steinfeld, Wunmi Mosaku and Jayme Lawson.
