Archives
Includes photograph of Dora and Marion. The letter reads:'You have not answered any of my letters. Please answer at once and send the money. I am staying at the above address with Marion. I have been away from business these last few days. I had fainting fits at the Baltic and had to be sent home in a cab. I am a little better now, but I feel my lungs are going. I have such a cough and I spit a good deal of blood. I hope to be at business in a day or two. Will you send the money as much as you can. A little would be a great help to me. Marion has grown such a fine girlie and can talk. She says she is Mama's petty and she says Dada's gone. When I can spare the money I will have her photographed. Good bye Chum and send me some money by return of post, or send an answer, Dolly.'
