Maud and Ted have moved into Kingsclere, King's Road, Richmond. The Duchesse de Mandas tried to 'poison [Mary's] pleasure' while they were listening to a gramophone record by saying that it made all voices sound alike, but Mary did not allow herself to be 'hypnotised into thinking this'. Mary has been to a second party in honour of Lady Anna Chandos-Pole. The file contains only the first 3 pages (over 1 piece of paper); the rest of the letter is missing.
