Richmond Local Studies Library & Archive

The Local Studies Library and Archive is open on alternate Saturdays, 9.30am to 4pm (closed for lunch 12.30 to 1.30pm). It will be open on Saturdays 27 December 2025; 10 and 24 January 2026; 7 and 21 February 2026; and 7 and 21 March 2026.

It is possible to visit on a Tuesday to Friday morning by appointment. If you would like to make a morning appointment, contact Local Studies by phone or email (see above). Wednesday to Friday morning appointments must be made at least one day in advance. Tuesday morning appointments must be made on the preceding Friday at the latest. If your appointment has not been confirmed by staff, it will not be possible for you to visit that morning.
